How do I split slides?

If you find that there’s too much text on one slide, or something just doesn’t look right on a slide, you can always use the ‘Split Slides’ button to move some of the text to a new slide of its own.

Here’s how to use that feature:

First, you need to place your cursor where you want the split to happen.

In this screenshot, I placed the cursor after the comma.

Then click the ‘Insert Slide Break’ button from the menu that runs along the top of each slide.

Here’s what that sentence looks like now that it’s been split.

You can see the rest of the split sentence on a new slide beneath our original slide.
